In a fishbowl

Our many thanks to Brian, Andrew and the stupendous crew at Delta Marine for installing the water maker, even if our four nights in the boatyard were less than glamorous and a bit like living in a fishbowl. Before we’d had time to finish our first cup of coffee each morning, the workers were onboard, with drills whining, new parts being hauled on and old ones off, pats for Duke and comments about aromas wafting from the galley. During the stay Bob found time to add a depth sounder to the dingy, Duke was happy to meet new friends, Kim made progress on a knitting project.

We’re excited to be underway again, currently enroute to Nanimo and preparing to navigate the infamous Dodd Narrows. From Nanimo we plan to cross Strait of Georgia and head north to Pender Harbor on British Columbia’s sunshine coast.
