Finally! After delays too numerous and complicated to imagine, the adventure begins. The haul out this week showed line from crab traps encountered off the coast of Oregon were wrapped around both props. No damage to props or hull, and the line was easily removed. Other minor maintenance was conducted this week while Kim slipped away to experience the sublime sweetness of holding a grandchild. It’s actually possible to sit for hours and hours, gazing into the face of a newborn.

Bob, Kim and Duke now reunited in Anacortes to provision, analyze tides and plot out anchorages for the coming week. Yay!
